    Abstract
Ciputra University is currently standing as the only university that involves entrepreneurs in their teaching and learning process as lecturer practitioners, which known as Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR). Researcher is interested in EIR because the topic is rarely found and appealing to investigate. Competence itself is defined as the abilities and skills owned by an individual that underlie their action. Compensation is a reward given to someone in return for a service they have provided. Commitment is something comes out from someone that makes them stay in their job. Performance is a result achieved by an individual for the task given to them. This research work aims to examine the influence of competence, compensation, and commitment on performance of EIR in Ciputra University. The data were collected directly from EIR by questionnaires. The research population is 64 EIR from UC odd semester 2017 with minimum teaching period of four semesters as the criteria. Likert scale used to measure the data. Multiple regression method with IBM SPSS 24 was used to analyze the data. Results indicate that competence variable influences EIR's performance, thus the first hypothesis is confirmed. Compensation variable does not influence EIR's performance, thus the second hypothesis is not confirmed. Commitment variable influenced EIR's performance, thus the third hypothesis is not confirmed. Competence, compensation, and commitment simultaneously influence EIR's performance
