ABSTRACTThe impact of family business has been recognized globally. However, according to some facts and previous studies, the performance of family businesses may decline as they age and the generations change. The research tried to explore the differences in firm performances based on company size, company age, and the generation of the leaders of the firms to confirm the results from the previous study. The data were compiled from 213 companies that vary in size. There were micro, small, small-medium, big-medium, and big firms. The possible presence of significant differences in firm performance based on company size, age, and generation of the leaders was analyzed using the Analysis of Variances (ANOVA). ANOVA test shows no significant differences in company age, company size, and the generation of the leaders toward their firm performances. The research clarifies the previous studies stating that there are significant differences in those three independent variables toward firm performance. The research also shows no significant difference in different generation of the leaders toward company size. Hence, it means the firm performance of companies cannot be determined only by knowing its size, age, or the generation of the leaders. There must be other factors that can help to identify the firm performance of a company.

Abstract
Food is a necessity that is needed by anyone. One way to obtain food is to cook. Many people choose to cook their own food, even more so during the Covid-19 pandemic which caused cooking preferences to increase. One of the things used when cooking is recipes. Recipes need to be saved for easy reuse. Hence built a food recipe collection app that helps store recipes on mobile devices. The application is built on iOS. To find out the problems and needs in recipe saving, interviews were conducted, and problems were found regarding separated storing location and diverse storing format, limited search capabilities on current saving method, time-consuming input processes, and disturbing automatic-lock on device. Analysis of similar applications were also conducted and found shortcomings related to the flow and application interface. Based on these results, the application is designed with two main features, namely recipe storage and cooking mode. In recipe storage, users can add, change, and delete recipes. Once a recipe is saved, users can view a list of saved recipes, view recipes by category, and search for recipes by title. In cooking mode, users are given a checklist to prepare ingredients and then given a step-by-step. Application development uses the Swift programming language, with Swift User Interface to build the app's interface. Application data is stored locally using Core Data. Testing of application implementation results is carried out using alpha test and beta test. Alpha tests are performed using black-box test, to ensure the accuracy of inputs and outputs of various application functions. The beta test is done by conducting application trials and interviews with cooks to ensure application usability and to obtain feedbacks from users. Based on the test results, all functions in the application run as expected and this application helps users save food recipe collection.

Abstract
The purpose of this research was investigating prospective English teachers’ knowledge on mind mapping by using a questionnaire. There were 142 respondents from various semesters of their study in English Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, in three cities in Indonesia, i.e., Medan, Sidoarjo, and Poso. The questionnaire consisted of 7 items of close and open-ended questions that asked about the prospective English teachers’ knowledge on mind mapping and its usage. Questionnaire was analyzed using descriptive quantitative research method. Result showed that almost 50% of the prospective English teachers have known about mind mapping. This bases result can be suggested to extend by analyzing its usage in another skills of English learned by these prospective teachers.

Abstract

To end the COVID-19 pandemics, the government attempted to accelerate the vaccination through various programs and collaboration. Unfortunately, the number is still relatively small compared to the number of populations in Indonesia. There are some reasons attributed to this challenge, one of them being the reluctance of citizens to accept the COVID-19 vaccine due to various factors. Knowing this factor to increase public compliance, the vaccination program can be speed-up. Unfortunately, traditionally acquiring the knowledge related to COVID-19 vaccine rejection can be challenging. One of the ways to capture the knowledge is by conducting a survey or interview related to COVID-19 vaccine acceptance. This method can be inefficient in terms of cost and resources. To address those problem, we propose a novel method for analyzing the topics related to the COVID-19 Indonesians’ opinions on Twitter by implementing topic modeling algorithm called Latent Dirichlet Allocation. We gathered more than 22000 tweets related to the COVID-19 vaccine. By applying the algorithm to the collected dataset, we can capture the what is general opinion and topic when people discuss about COVID-19 vaccine. The result was validated using the labeled dataset that have been gathered in the previous research. Once we have the important term, the strategy based on can be determined by the medical professional who are responsible to administer the COVID-19 vaccine.
