| dc.description | Student activists are faced with a difficult situation in balancing the pressures between their roles as students and as members of their organization. This research is aimed at testing the influence of academic stress towards organizational citizenship behavior in student activist of University of X, Surabaya. A quantitative approach with correlational design was used in this research. A total of 62 respondents participated in this research. Modified Organizational Citizenship Behavior Scale and Perceived Academic Stress Scale was used to collect data from respondents. Data was then analysed using simple linear regression. Results indicate that academic stress has a negative influence on organizational citizenship behavior within student activist. Perception of workload and examination and self-perception in academic stress was also found to have a negative influence on generalized compliance within organizational citizenship behavior. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Mahasiswa aktivis dihadapi dengan tantangan yang sulit untuk menyeimbangkan antara tekanan sebagai mahasiswa dengan perannya sebagai anggota organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh academic stress (AS) dengan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) pada mahasiswa aktivis. Pendekatan kuatitatif dengan desain korelasional digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Total responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 62 orang. Alat ukur temodifikasi adalah Organizational Citizenship Behavior-Scale (OCB=S) dan Percieved Academic Stress Scale (PAS) yang telah digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data melalui analisa regresi linear sederhana. Hasil mengindikasikan bahwa AS memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap OCB pada mahasiswa aktivis Universitas X Surabaya. Aspek Perception of workload and examinations dan self-perception dalam AS ditemukan untuk memiliki hubungan negatif dengan generalized compliance dalam OCB. | en_US |
