| dc.description | In this Globalization Era, people‟s needs are answered by the existence of computer, which is completed with the internet connection, which then developed to be easily brought from one place to another that people call it as „Laptop‟. Surabaya is a big city with a big amount of population, and also has various business units that try to use many kinds of promotions in restaurants or department stores. Seeing lots of banks offer promotions, finding and memorizing every promotion is not easy. There is a bank that usually offers their promotions to the customers by promotion book such as BCA Credit Card. Therefore a software system to help those BCA card holders to find the closest restaurants from user is needed. This software will help detecting the user‟s location to the closest promo locations by GPS. GPS is an application, which is able to help showing location. As a result, by using GPS, users can find the locations where BCA Credit Card‟s promo is available. The Application will be designed using Google Map. The Software will be operated in Android operating system by using Java programming language. The final result of this software is to change from the physical booklet to online booklet. The promo information will be real time.

| dc.description.abstract | Pada era globalisasi ini kebutuhan masyarakat mulai terjawab dengan adanya komputer dengan dilengkapi dengan koneksi ke internet kemudian muncul komputer yang memudahkan masyarakat untuk menggunakan komputer dengan berpindah – pindah yang kemudian disebut dengan laptop. Surabaya merupakan kota besar dan memiliki penduduk yang demikian banyak, berbagai unit bisnis yang berusaha memanfaatkan berbagai promosi restoran maupun pusat perbelanjaan. Melihat banyaknya bank yang menawarkan promosi yang ditawarkan dan menemukan dan mengingat promosi yang ada sangatlah menyulitkan, ada usaha para bank menawarkan promosi kepada anggotanya melalui buku promosi, salah satunya kartu kredit BCA. Maka dengan itu, diperlukan suatu sistem perangkat lunak yang dapat membantu pengguna kartu kredit BCA untuk mencari lokasi tempat makan terdekat dari lokasi pengguna berada. Perangkat lunak akan membantu mendeteksi lokasi pengguna berada ke lokasi promo terdekat dengan menggunakan GPS. Aplikasi ini akan dibuat diatas platform Android dan bantuan Google Map API sebagai fitur penunjuk peta. Hasil akhir dari perangkat lunak ini adalah aplikasi ini dapat membantu menggantikan brosur fisik. Informasi promo yang diterima pengguna melalui aplikasi ini bersifat real time. | en_US |
