| dc.description | Indonesia is ranked as the world's most beautiful country, with the island of Sumatra possessing the greatest beauty riches, with tropical forests that rival those of other industrialized countries. This is inextricably linked to the local flora and wildlife, which includes Sumatran tigers, Tokhtor birds, Rafflesia Arnoldii, Tien orchids, and Cempaka Wangi. However, public awareness of the need of maintaining biodiversity is still too low to have an influence on animal and plant extinction concerns.As a result of considering the topic and its relationship to fashion, the author innovated to produce ready-to-wear luxurious apparel inspired by Sumatra's flora and wildlife employing realistic painting methods. findings of product development interviews and trials, the overall appearance of clothing is influenced by the materials, colors, and the object of the painting being drawn. The paintings are intentionally positioned with an emphasis on animals and flora so that they may be adequately emphasized. This collection has a combination of feminine and edgy designs in three major colors: Midnight Black, Unrevealed Red, and Revered White. This study employed a qualitative approach, with both primary and secondary data collected. Primary data were conducted with professional sources such as fashion designers, fashion stylists, textile specialists, artists, models, fashion enthusiast, and entrepreneurs, as well as extremes such as models, entrepreneurs, and fashion fans. Secondary data was acquired from a variety of preservation-related research, including journals, papers, periodicals, websites, social media, and theses. According to the findings of interviews and observations, as well as product production experiments, the overall look of clothes is impacted by the choice of materials, colors, and the object of the painting being drawn. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Indonesia ditetapkan sebagai negara terindah nomor satu di dunia dengan pulau Sumatra sebagai pemegang kekayaan keindahan terbesar dengan hutan tropis yang mampu mengalahkan negara maju lainnya. Hal ini tidak terlepas dari flora dan fauna yang ada didalamnya seperti harimau Sumatra, burung Tokhtor, Rafflesia Arnoldii, Anggrek Tien, dan cempaka wangi. Namun, kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya menjaga keanekaragaman hayati ini masih terlalu minim sehingga berdampak pada keterancaman hewan dan tumbuhan yang berujung pada kepunahan. Oleh karenanya, berdasarkan pertimbangan masalah dan kaitannya dengan fashion, penulis berinovasi untuk merancang busana ready-to-wear deluxe yang terinspirasi dari flora dan fauna di Sumatra dengan menggunakan teknik painting aliran realisme. Penempatan lukisan diletakkan secara strategis dengan fokus satwa dan tumbuhan sehingga dapat ter-highlight dengan baik. Koleksi ini menggunakan tiga warna utama yaitu Midnight Black, Unrevealed Red dan Revered White dengan campuran style antara feminine dan edgy. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder. Data primer diperoleh melalui kegiatan wawancara dengan narasumber expert yang meliputi fashion designer, fashion stylist, textile expert, seniman, model, fashion enthusiast, dan entrepreneur dan extreme yang meliputi model, entrepreneur, dan fashion enthusiast. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui beberapa penelitian yang berhubungan dengan pelestarian, diantaranya adalah jurnal, artikel, majalah, website, media sosial dan skripsi. Dari hasil wawancara dan observasi serta uji coba pembuatan produk, diketahui bahwa secara keseluruhan, tampilan busana dipengaruhi oleh pemilihan bahan, warna, serta objek lukisan yang digambar. | en_US |
