The amount of inorganic waste continues to increase every year due to nonoptimal waste processing. Fabric waste is a type of inorganic waste that cannot decompose, thus can be recycled for reuse. One way is to upcycle them as fashion products, namely bags made using quilting techniques. Through designing women's bag products from fabric waste, it is expected that Indonesian citizen can start using sustainability-based products, which at the same time, have unique and novel design. The researcher used the design thinking and product design methods. The target market is aimed at women aged 18-22 who have interest in fashion as a form of self-expression. This research method used qualitative approach by collecting primary data, conducting interviews with 6 experts and quantitative approach by conducting an online survey of 100 respondents. Secondary data are obtained in the form of journals, articles, books, websites and other data related to this research. From the results of the initial design, it was found that the overall design of the women's bag made from fabric waste using the quilting technique was overall favorable as it had natural structure and colors, good selection and combination of materials, and could also be used for various events, both casual and semi-formal. The product is in accordance with the target market and the price offered. The design development of this final project resulted in 5 collections of bags with prominent quilting motif designs as the center point to add aesthetic points to the design.en_US
