| dc.description | A djustment phase between husband and wife may lead to vulnerability towards disharmony. Marriage disharmony is caused by unsatisfactory marriage. Diss atisfaction in marriage is also allegedly linked to the financial relationships and communication in married couple . This study aims to determine th e relationship between financial relationships and communication with marital satisfaction as husband and wife, with a marriage under the age of five years. This study uses a quantitative method with a correlation design. Data was collected usin g a scale o f financial relation (Kurniawan & Setiawan , 2016), the scale of the communication PREPARE/ENRICH customized version ( Olson & Larson , 2008) , and The Kansas Marital Satisfaction Scale (Grable & Britt, 20 06). This study was conducted among 89 subjects consisted of 25 husband s (28.1%) and 64 wiv e s (71.9%) in marriage under the age of five years. Analysis of data using multiple correlation test and partial correlation test. There are three results of analysis in this study. First, t he multipl e correlation test results showed there was significant relationship between financial relations and communications toget her with marital satisfaction on husband s and wiv e s with a marriage under the age of five years (R = 0 . 662, ρ <0.05). The effective con tribution of financial relations and communication together towards the marital satisfaction reached 43.8%. Second, the partial correlation test results showed there was significant positive corre lation between financial relationships and marital satisfact ion by controlling communic ation on husband s and wiv e s with a marriage under the age of five years (r = 0.351, ρ <0.05). Third, results showed no significant positive corre lation between communication and marital satisfaction by controlling the financial r elationship as husband and wife with a marriage under the age of five years (r = 0.330, ρ <0.05). The combination of financial relations and communication variables size impact on marital satisfaction. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Fase penyesuaian antara suami dan istri menimbulkan kerentanan akan ketidakharmonisan. Ketidakharmonisan pernikahan disebabkan oleh ketidakpuasan pernikahan. Ketidakpuasan pernikahan diduga juga terkait dengan relasi finansial dan komunikasi pada pasangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara relasi finansial dan komunikasi dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada suami atau istri dengan usia pernikahan di bawah lima tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan skala relasi finansial (Kurniawan & Setiawan , 2016), skala komunikasi PREPARE/ENRICH customized version ( Olson & Larson , 20 08), dan The Kansas Marital Satisfaction Scale (Grable & Britt, 2006). Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 89 orang subjek yang terdiri dari 25 subjek suami (28.1%) dan 64 subjek istri (71.9%) yang menikah dengan usia pernikahan di bawah lima tahun. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi ganda dan uji korelasi parsial. Penelitian ini memiliki tiga hasil. Pertama, h asil uji korelasi ganda menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara rel asi finansial dan komunikasi secara bersama - sama dengan kepuasan pernikahan pada suami atau istri dengan usia pernikahan di bawah lima tahun (R=0.662, ρ < 0.05). Sumbangan e fektif relasi finansial dan komunikasi secara bersama - sama terhadap kepuasan pernik ahan sebesar 43,8%. Kedua, h asil uji korelasi parsial menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara relasi finansial dan kepuasan pernikahan dengan mengendalikan komunikasi pada suami atau istri dengan usia pernikahan di bawah lima tahun (r =0.351, ρ < 0.05). Ketiga, h asil uji korelasi parsial menunjukkan ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara komunikasi dan kepuasan pernikahan dengan mengendalikan relasi finansial pada suami atau istri dengan usia pernikahan di bawah lima tahun (r=0.330 , ρ < 0.05).
