Globalization place the first thought in people mind, displace the era of old culture. Reality creates demand to appropriate the condition in new perspective of mind, for people to stand alone more than before.
As the world goes by, what old people care about are not affected greatly through the stream of the modernity. In addition that, mostly they need to be in part of respect relationship between others, especially in family circle.
Design of The Element of Interior in case of Exercise for the Elderly with Osteoporosis presenting the answer to solve the problems. Its design combined the product itself and the essential way to treat the osteoporosis by the osteoporosis exercise that have been recommended by the expertise. Key word topic of relax, support, and therapy are chosen in conformity with the expectation of elderly to live well in their second childhood. Minimalis design style complete the product design process in order to fulfill their need of having an authoritative bearing, and what is more minimalis style combine with nostalgic character is shown in the design process of show room. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Seiring dengan perkembangan jaman dan peningkatan jumlah orang tua yang semakin meningkat, jumlah penderita osteoporosis pun semakin meningkat. Pengaruh perkembangan budaya yang ada menimbulkan perspektif sikap masyarakat berubah pula menyesuaikan dengan kondisi yang lebih menuntut adanya kemandirian. Sedangkan pola pikir dan pandangan orang tua tidak terlalu terbawa oleh pergeseran dan perkembangan budaya tersebut, terlebih lagi kebutuhan akan eksistensi dan penghargaan dalam lingkungan keluarga.
Peracangan Elemen Interior Exercise Kelompok Lanjut Usia dengan Keterbatasan Osteoporosis ini berusaha untuk mengatasi dan menjawab permasalahan yang ada. Perancangan ini mengedepankan penggabungan antara elemen atau (produk) interior dengan essensi dasar penanganan osteoporosis melalui aktivitas exercise yang telah direkomendasikan. Mengangkat tema perancangan “ relax, support dan terapi “ sesuai dengan harapan kelompok lanjut usia pada masa tuanya untuk bersantai dan beristirahat setelah periode kerja keras yang telah dilaluinya. Sentuhan akan kebutuhan eksistensi & wibawa serta gaya minimalis ikut mendukung dalam perancangan elemen atau (produk) interior ini, sedangkan gaya minimalis dan karakter nostalgia ditampilkan untuk mendukung dalam perancangan ruang stand show room. | en_US |
