dc.descriptionThe development of information technology and the internet has become an important aspect of modern human life. The existence of e-commerce mobile application, makes it easier for online lifestyle. The e-commerce system works will introduce a product by presenting detailed information so that users feel safer about spending money. The level of Usability can affect the ease of use an e-commerce mobile application. In addition, a visual display interface (design interface) can also improve Usability. Shopee leads as the number one largest online shop site in Indonesia on iPrice 's 2020 research. To create a successful mobile app, it is important to measure Usability to determine the quality of the e-commerce mobile application. This study aims to measure and provide recommendation for improvements in e-commerce based on the Shopee mobile application based on the results of the Usability evaluation which is reviewed by Shopee users on three Usability attributes, such as effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. the method of measuring Usability testing in this study uses Cognitive Walkthrough to obtain initial data on the effectiveness and efficiency attributes and the satisfaction attributes measured using the System Usability Scale (SUS) by providing a questionnaire. The result of recommendations will be obtained during testing and through interviews to obtain an effective interface design so that it can optimize improvements to e-commerce based on Shopee 's mobile application. After conducting Usability testing on e-commerce based on Shopee 's mobile application with the Cognitive Walkthrough method and the System Usability Scale (SUS) based ISO 9241-11, the results obtained 93% effectiveness aspects, aspects of efficiency with a speed of 0, 08 per seconds and 72% satisfaction. This show that the Shopee application is able to meet the Usability criteria of a mobile application because it is considered to quite fulfilling the three Usability variabels based of ISO 9241-11 model, such as effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. In order to increase the level of Usability, this study designed a recommendation on the Shopee e-commerce application that changes the layout of the pages and menus, and the others is simplifies the display.en_US
dc.description.abstractPerkembangan teknologi informasi dan internet menjadi aspek penting dalam kehidupan manusia modern. Aplikasi mobile e-commmerce semakin memudahkan kebutuhan gaya hidup secara online. Cara kerja sistem e-commerce akan mengenalkan suatu produk dengan menyaj ikan informasi yang detail agar pengguna dapat yakin terhadap sesuatu produk yang ingin dibeli. Tingkat Usability dapat mempengaruhi kemudahan penggunaan suatu mobile application e-commerce. Se lain itu, adanya tampilan visual antarmuka ( design interface) yang menarik juga dapat meningkatkan Usability. Aplikasi Shopee memimpin sebagai situs toko online terbesar di Indonesia pada riset iPrice tahun 2020. Untuk terciptannya sebuah aplikasi yang baik dan informatif, maka perlu dilakukan pengukuran Usability agar mengetahui kualitas dari mobile application e-commerce. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan pada e-commerce berbasis mobile application Shopee berdasarkan hasil evaluasi Usability yang merujuk pada ISO 9241-11 yang ditinjau dari pengguna Shopee pada tiga atribut Usability yaitu effectiveness, efficiency dan satisfaction. Metode pengukur Usability testing pada aplikasi e-commerce Shopee pada penelitian ini menggunakan Cognitive Walkthrough untuk mendapatkan data awal pada atribut effectiveness dan efficiency serta atribut satisfaction diukur menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) dengan memberikan kuesioner. Hasil rekomendasi akan diperoleh saat pengujian berlangsung dan melalui wawancara untuk memperoleh design interface yang efektif sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan perbaikan pada e-commerce berbasis mobile application Shopee. Setelah melakukan Usability testing pada e-commerce berbasis mobile application Shopee dengan metode Cognitive Walkthrough dan System Usability Scale (SUS) didapatkan hasil penelitian aspek effectiveness 93%; aspek efficiency dengan tingkat kecepatan 0,08 tiap detiknya dan satisfaction 72%. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa aplikasi Shopee cukup memenuhi kriteria Usability sebuah aplikasi mobile karena dinilai cukup mencakupi tiga variabel Usability model ISO 9241-11 yaitu effectiveness, efficiency dan satisfaction. Untuk meningkatkan tingkat Usability aplikasi e-commerce berbasis mobile application dalam penelitian ini dirancang rekomendasi pada aplikasi e-commerce Shopee yaitu mengubah tata letak (layout) halaman dan menu serta menyederhanakan tampilan.en_US
