dc.description | College student needs thorough preparations regarding his career decision. In
about career decision making, it will be necessary to have a belief in determining
career. Career Decision making Self-efficacy is a great main factor, especially in
final year student. Final year student will experience a transition period from
college to higher level career path where there might be unstable phase out there.
There are several phenomena could be related to this instability that might affect
their decision in his future career, such as lack of Career Decision making Selfefficacy.
This study aims to determine the relationship between career calling and
career decision making self-efficacy towards final years student in surabaya.
There are two hypothesis in this study, the correlation between presence of career
calling and search of career calling with career decision making self-efficacy
towards final years student in surabaya. This study using quantitative research
method with spearman correlational design which is could determine the
correlation between variables. The scale used in this study is CVQ scale (Career
and Vocational Questionnaire) and CDMSE Long-form scale (Career Decision
making Self-efficacy). The questionnaire was spread out and received 137
respondents form final years student in surabaya, convenience sampling is the
sampling technique of this study. The final result of this study using JASP indicate
that there is no correlation between presence of career with CDMSE (r=0.1179;
p=0.170; p < 0.05), meanwhile in the second hypothesis there are having
correlation between search of career calling with CDMSE (r=0.1738; p=0.042; p
< 0.05). the conclusions in this study there are correlation between search of
career calling with career decision making self-efficacy toward final years

dc.description.abstract | Seorang mahasiswa memerlukan persiapan yang matang terkait keputusan
karirnya. Dalam pengambilan kepurusan karir diperlukan adanya sebuah
kayakinan dalam menentukan karir tersebut. Career Decision making Self-efficacy
adalah faktor yang sangat penting pada diri individu, khususnya pada mahasiswa
tingkat akhir. Mahasiswa tingkat akhir akan mengalami masa transisi dari
perkuliahan menuju jenjang karir selanjutnya dimana terdapat fase yang mungkin
kurang stabil. Terdapat beberapa fenomena yang berkaitan dengan ketidak
stabilan tersebut yang berpengaruh dengan keputusan pada karirnya dimasa
depan, seperti kurangnya Career Decision making self-efficacy. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara career calling
dengan Career Decision making Self-efficacy pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir.
Terdapat dua hipotesis pada penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan antara
Presence of career calling dan Search of Career calling dengan Career Decision
making Self-efficacy pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir di surabaya. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasi spearman yaitu
untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antar variabel. Adapula skala yang digunakan
peneliti yaitu skala CVQ (Career and Vocational Questionnaire) dan skala
CDMSE Long-form (Career Decision making Self-efficacy). Kuesioner pada
penelitian ini telah disebarkan dan mendapat 137 responden mahasiswa aktif
tingkat akhir di surabaya, untuk teknik pengambilan sampel nya menggunakan
convenience sampling. Hasil analisis penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi
pengolah data JASP versi 0.14.0 dan menunjukkan hasil bahwa tidak terdapat
hubungan antara Presence of Career calling dengan CDMSE (r=0.1179; p=0.170;
p < 0.05), sementara itu terdapat hubungan antara Search of Carrer calling dengan
CDMSE (r=0.1738; p=0.042; p < 0.05). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah
terdapat hubungan antara Search of Career calling dengan Career Decision
making Self-efficacy pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir. | en_US |
