| dc.description | The development of the cigar industry in Surabaya cannot be separated from
the labor as workers. Work as labor is easily getting stress. Many stressors that can
lead to stress, ranging from the demands of work, working environments to the
obligations outside of work that needs to be met. The purpose of this research was to
determine the relationship between Social Support and Stress Management Selfefficacy by stress of woman labor in the X cigar factory at Surabaya. This study was
expected to determine the effective contribution of the variables between Social
Support and Stress Management Self-efficacy with stress.
This study used quantitative research methods with a correlational design.
This study used three parameters, Comprehensive Health Check for Workers (CHCW)
to measure stress and modification of the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social
Support (MSPSS) to measure Social Support and scale that has been developed by
Tsuda, et al. (in press) to measure the Stress Management Self-Efficacy scale.
Subjects in this study were taken from one of the factory workers in Surabaya.
Representative sample of workers were 65. Sampling techniques by incidental
sampling and acquisition of data collected by structured interview techniques.
Researcher used correlation of regresi (hipotesis 1) dan korelasi partial correlation
(hipotesis 2 and 3).
Research results and analysis indicate that the 3 hypothesis were rejected.
There were no correlations between Social Support, Stress Management Self-Efficacy
on Stress of women workers in cigar factory at Surabaya (F = 0.88; p>0.05), there
were no relationship between Social Support and Stress on women workers in X cigar
factory at Surabaya by controlling Stress Management Self-Efficacy (r = 0.188;
p>0.05), there were no relationship between Stress and Stress Management SelfEfficacy on women workers in the cigar factory at Surabaya by controlling X Social
Support (r = -0,06; p> 0.05). | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Perkembangan yang pesat industri pabrik rokok di Surabaya tak lepas dari
peranan buruh sebagai pekerja. Pekerjaan menjadi buruh rentan mengalami stres.
Banyaknya stressor yang dapat menyebabkan stres, mulai dari tuntutan kerja, kondisi
lingkungan kerja hingga kewajiban diluar pekerjaan yang perlu dipenuhi. Tujuan
penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Social Support dan Stress
Management Self-efficacy dengan stres pada buruh perempuan di pabrik rokok X
Surabaya. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu mengetahui sumbangan efektif antar
variabel Social Support dan Stress Management Self-efficacy dengan stres.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional.
Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga alat ukur, yaitu kuesioner Comprehensive Health
Check for Workers (CHCW) untuk mengukur stres dan modifikasi Multidimensional
Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) untuk mengukur social support dan skala
yang telah dikembangkan Tsuda, et al. (in press) untuk mengukur skala Stress
Management Self Efficacy.
Subyek dalam penelitian ini diambil dari salah satu buruh pabrik X di
Surabaya. Sampel yang mewakili buruh berjumlah 65 orang. Teknik pengambilan
sampel dilakukan dengan incidental sampling dan perolehan data dikumpukan
melalui teknik structured interview. Peneliti menggunakan uji korelasi regresi
(hipotesis 1) dan korelasi parsial (hipotesis 2 dan 3).
Hasil penelitian dan analisis menunjukkan bahwa 3 hipotesis yang diajukan
ditolak. Tidak ada hubungan antara Social Support dan Stress Management Self
Efficacy dengan Stres pada buruh perempuan pabrik rokok X di Surabaya (F= 0,88;
p> 0,05), tidak ada hubungan antara Social Support dan Stres pada buruh perempuan
pabrik rokok X di Surabaya dengan mengendalikan Stress Management Self Efficacy
(r= 0,188; p> 0,05), tidak ada hubungan antara Stress Management Self Efficacy dan
Stres pada buruh perempuan pabrik rokok X di Surabaya dengan mengendalikan
