    Abstract
Nowadays, burn injuries, especially second and third-degree burns, continue to raise concerns from the onset of their pathogenesis. Besides abrupt metabolic changes, wound care plays a very important role in patient recovery. The faster the wound heals, the better the outcome for burn patients comprehensively, including preventive care to avoid severe scarring and contractures as complications. Based on studies, adipose-derived stem cells (ADSC) emerges as a modern treatment that provides a better opportunity to enhance epithelialization in burn wounds. This literature provides a description of the use of ADSC in second- to third-degree burn patients in Indonesia.
