| dc.description | The goal of this research is to study the corelation between the need for affiliation and conformity in teenagers who frequently spend time clubbing in club X. This research uses a quantitative approach, specifically, the corelational research method. The measurement scale used in this research is the scale for the need of affiliation and the scale of conformity. The free variable in this research is the need for affilitation whereas the static variable is conformity. The problem in this research is the emergence of conformity in a group of peers triggering the need for acceptance in the group in a teenager’s mind through the ass imilation of the group’s interests into the teenager’s, one of them being the clubbing activity. The population in this research are 100 teenagers aged 16 to 20 years old living in West Surabaya who regularly do clubbing activities. The selection of samples is performed utilising Incedental Sampling with 80 subjects (Hill, 1998). The research data is analysed using the SPSS 21.0 software for Windows. The proposed hypothesis is on the positive corelation bethween the need for corelation and conformity in teenagers clubbing in club X. The result of the research shows a corelation of 0,0000 with a p value of <0,05. Therefore, the proposed hypothesis was proven as true. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kebutuhan afiliasi dan konformitas pada remaja yang clubbing di club X. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional . Skala pengukuran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kebutuhan afiliasi dan skala konformitas. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini kebutuhan afiliasi, sementara variabel terikatnya ialah konformitas. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah munculnya konformitas pada kelompok teman sebaya yang membuat remaja ingin dapat diterima ditengah lingkungan kelompoknya dengan menyamakan minat dari kelompok, salah satunya dengan melakukan aktivitas clubbing . Populasi penelitian ini adalah remaja yang bertempat tinggal di Surabaya barat yang melakukan aktivitas clubbing dan berusia 16 hingga 20 tahun yang berjumlah 100 orang. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik Incedential sampling dengan jumlah subjek 80 orang (Hill, 1998). Data penelitian dianalisis den gan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 21.0 For Windows . Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah adanya hubungan positif kebutuhan afiliasi dan konformitas pada remaja yang clubbing di club X . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan korelasi sebesar 0,000 dengan p < 0,05. Dengan demikian hipotesa yang diajukan terbukti. | en_US |
