| dc.description | Clothing is a primary human need that serves as body protection and can influence one's view. Ready-to-wear deluxe clothing itself is a development of ready-to-wear clothing but has a more complicated design, is produced in limited quantities, and uses special techniques in its manufacture. With special techniques, there can be added value and uniqueness to a collection. In this case, the special technique used is the tapestry weaving technique. The term "tapestry" comes from the French word "tapisserie", which means almost the same as floor covering. This technique is made by crossing the warp and weft threads. This tapestry weaving technique then produces patterns inspired by rattan woven objects such as bags and baskets as an effort to preserve the art of woven crafts so that they do not fade over time. In addition, the Mondrian style is also used in the design of the collection. The hallmark of the Mondrian style itself is the grid game, where there are black vertical and horizontal lines so that they form boxes and then use additional primary and secondary colors. In this study, qualitative and quantitative methods were used, where interviews with six experts and six extreme users were conducted, and 100 online questionnaires were distributed to women aged 23–35 years. In addition, literature studies in the form of articles, videos, and journals related to this research were also conducted. The result of this design is a collection of ready-to-wear deluxe clothes in the Mondrian style using tweed fabric material and chenille yarn material as a tapestry making material. It is hoped that this concept can provide new innovations for the fashion world, where tapestry can also be used in fashion products. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Busana merupakan kebutuhan primer manusia yang berfungsi sebagai pelindung tubuh sekaligus dapat mempengaruhi pandangan seseorang. Busana ready-to wear deluxe sendiri merupakan pengembangan dari busana ready-to-wear namun memiliki desain yang lebih rumit, diproduksi dengan kuantitas terbatas dan menggunakan teknik khusus dalam pembuatannya. Dengan adanya teknik khusus dapat menjadi nilai tambah dan keunikan dari suatu koleksi. Dalam hal ini teknik khusus yang digunakan adalah teknik tenun tapestri. Istilah tapestri berasal dari bahasa Perancis ‘tapiesserie’ yang artinya hampir sama dengan penutup lantai. Teknik ini dibuat dengan cara persilangan antara benang lungsi dan pakan. Dari teknik tenun tapestri ini kemudian menghasilkan motif-motif yang terinspirasi dari benda-benda anyaman rotan seperti tas dan keranjang sebagai usaha untuk melestarikan seni kerajinan anyaman agar tidak luntur seiring perkembangan jaman. Selain itu juga digunakan style mondrian dalam perancangan koleksi. Ciri khas dari style mondrian sendiri adalah permainan grid dimana terdapat garis garis vertikal dan horizontal berwarna hitam sehingga membentuk kotak-kotak kemudian menggunakan tambahan warna-warna primer juga sekunder. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif dimana dilakukan wawancara terhadap 6 experts dan 6 extreme users serta menyebar 100 kuisioner secara online terhadap wanita berusia 23-35 tahun. Selain itu juga dilakukan studi literatur berupa artikel, video dan jurnal yang terkait dengan penelitian ini. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah berupa koleksi pakaian ready-to-wear deluxe dengan style mondrian dengan menggunakan material kain tweed serta material chenille yarn sebagai bahan pembuatan tapestri. Diharapkan dengan adanya konsep ini dapat memberi inovasi baru bagi dunia fashion dimana tapestri juga dapat digunakan pada produk fashion. | en_US |
