| dc.description | Ciputra University has a procedure to support the education system, namely by implementing a competition program. In preparation for this competition, a management system and a place are needed to facilitate the publication, records or history, and scheduling of competitions for one of the competition coordinators at Ciputra University. Therefore, this study aims to design and build a web-based student competition management system. The process of making this management system begins with research and requirement analysis. The research process was completed by collecting data through interviews with several sources related to the competition. After conducting the research and analysis process, a system design in the form of a UML Diagram was made. With the results of the analysis and diagrams, this research will discuss the implementation section. The implementation process has a purpose of creating a web-based management system, this management system will be created using the Laravel Framework and MySQL database design as the Back End. HTML, CSS, and Javascript as Front End. The results of the implementation will be tested by two actors, namely students as competition participants and the competition coordinator as admin. The final results of the implementation and the software testing have been examined by the Competition Coordinator and one of the lecturers at Ciputra University, with the purpose of proving that this web application can be used by both examiners, by testing the main features of the web application, namely the examiner will login as admin to hold competitions, accepting or rejecting student's requests, choosing supervisors for students, creating competition participants' accounts and also being able to enter competitions and take part in competitions. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Universitas Ciputra memiliki salah satu cara untuk mendukung sistem pendidikan, yaitu dengan cara melaksanakan program perlombaan. Dalam persiapan lomba ini dibutuhkan sebuah sistem manajemen dan tempat untuk mempermudah publikasi informasi lomba dan membantu pencatatan riwayat keikutsertaan mahasiswa di dalam perlombaan untuk salah satu koordinator lomba di Universitas Ciputra. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem manajemen koordinasi lomba mahasiswa berbasis web. Proses pembuatan sistem manajemen ini dimulai dengan penelitian dan analisa kebutuhan. Proses penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara pada beberapa narasumber yang berkaitan dengan perlombaan. Setelah melakukan proses penelitian dan analisa, dibuatlah desain sistem berupa UML Diagram. Dengan hasil analisa dan diagram, dapat langsung masuk pada tahap implementasi. Proses implementasi memiliki tujuan untuk membuat sebuah sistem manajemen berbasis web, sistem manajemen ini akan dibuat menggunakan Framework Laravel dan desain basis data MySQL sebagai Back End. HTML, CSS, dan Javascript sebagai Front End. Hasil dari implementasi tersebut telah di uji coba oleh dua aktor, yaitu mahasiswa sebagai peserta lomba dan koordinator lomba sebagai admin. Hasil akhir dari implementasi dan uji coba telah dilakukan oleh Koordinator Lomba dan salah satu dosen di Universitas Ciputra, dengan tujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa aplikasi web ini bisa digunakan oleh kedua penguji, dengan cara menguji fitur utama dari aplikasi web, yaitu penguji akan login sebagai admin untuk mengadakan lomba, menerima atau menolak mahasiswa, memilih dosen pembimbing, membuat akun peserta lomba dan juga bisa masuk jadi peserta lomba dan mengikuti lomba. | en_US |
