| dc.description | Internet has become important in human life along with the time goes on. Various system were formed to facilitate easy access to information. To manage the big data the universities has built a system that always prioritizes easy access to information for campus activities. Universitas Ciputra is one from many campus that also makes an integrated academic information system commonly known as the Ciputra Information System in the application form called as UC Student to organize Ciputra University student academic data online. Such as electronic student ID cards, student personal data, class schedules, attendance during the lectures, student grades as well as helping to monitor student activities (credit point, finance data and borrowing books). However not a few students also having difficulty in opening and accessing information from the app. In addition, there are also problems such as some errors experiences when using the system, so testing the adoption rate of UC Student application is really important so we can know what factors that make the Universitas Ciputra students willing to use the application. This study is having a goal to analyze the effect of ease of use, computer self efficacy and perceived usefulness towards the adoption of UC Student application. The grounding theory of this study is technology acceptance model (TAM) that currently is still very relevant in measuring antecedents toward technology adoption. This study collects 317 respondents data using a Google Form self administered questionnaire using purposive (judgmental) sampling. Multiple regression analysis was then performed using python programming language to determine significant factors. The finding of this study shows all antecedents are significantly affecting intention to use UC Student application. The finding is expected to help ICT Department from Ciputra University to improving their system to be better in the future so that can be more usefull and effective for the students during the college activity. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Internet menjadi suatu hal yang merupakan kebutuhan penting dalam hidup manusia seiring dengan perkembangan zaman. Sistem yang bervariasi pun dibentuk agar memfasilitasi akses untuk mendapatkan informasi dengan mudah. Dalam upaya pengelolaan data, pihak kampus membangun sistem yang selalu mengutamakan kemudahan akses informasi dalam aktivitas perkuliahan di kampus. Universitas Ciputra merupakan salah satu kampus yang juga membuat suatu sistem informasi akademik yang terintegrasi biasa dikenal dengan Ciputra Information System dalam bentuk aplikasi yang bernama UC Student untuk mengorganisir data akademik mahasiswa Universitas Ciputra secara online. Seperti data personal mahasiswa, jadwal perkuliahan, kartu tanda mahasiswa elektronik, absensi selama perkuliahan, nilai mahasiswa serta membantu memonitor kegiatan mahasiswa (pencatatan kredit poin, data manajemen finansial, dan peminjaman buku). Namun tidak sedikit juga mahasiswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membuka dan mengakses informasi dari aplikasi tersebut. Selain itu juga terdapat permasalahan seperti aplikasi UC Student yang kadang mengalami error ketika penggunaan sistem sehingga pengujian mengenai tingkat adopsi aplikasi UC Student menjadi penting agar diketahui faktor apa saja yang membuat mahasiswa Universitas Ciputra bersedia dan mau menggunakan aplikasi tersebut. Studi ini menunjukkan untuk menganalisa efek dari kemudahan, kemanfaatan, dan computer self efficacy pada minat penggunaan dari aplikasi UC Student. Untuk mengidentifikasi faktor faktor yang ada dalam aplikasi UC Student terhadap perilaku pengguna dengan penerimaan suatu teknologi informasi digunakan teori Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Penelitian ini mengambil data dari 317 responden menggunakan kuisioner Google Form dengan metode purposive (judgmental) sampling. Kemudian data diolah menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda dengan bahasa pemrograman python untuk menentukan apa saja faktor-faktor yang signifikan. Hasil yang dapat ditemukan adalah semua faktor secara signifikan positif mempengaruhi minat penggunaan aplikasi UC Student. Penemuan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu departemen ICT dari Universitas Ciputra untuk dapat meningkatkan sistem mereka agar lebih baik di masa depan sehingga dapat lebih berguna dan efektif bagi mahasiswa dalam proses perkuliahan. | en_US |
