Abstract

This paper discuss about the aspects that should be taken into account in the processes of developing a university web based portal. The use of such kind of Information and Communication Technology application is essential for a university in order to enhance various administration processes efficiency thus reduce the cost of human resources. Finding the administration processes or information needed by the stake holders is a crucial stage in the development. Department of Management Information System should also provide a system that is reliable, accessible whenever needed, secure, and ready for a huge traffic increase from time to time. Finally, the department should also conduct a regular system evaluation to get the user’s need which is always evolving, as well to provide a sustainable system for future needs
