Perbedaan Orientasi Kewirausahaan dan Prestasi Akademik antara Mahasiswa Laki-laki dan Perempuan di Program Studi Psikologi Universitas Ciputra

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is o notion need that should be developed since the younger generation. Psychology Department University of Ciputro os a study program that integrate between psychology and entrepreneurship emphosizes its students to excel both in academic and entrepreneurial. Due to make the lecturers ore also required to guide students in both of those areas. Nature factor that is assumed to play a role toward entrepreneurial orientation and academic achievement is a gender. The purpose of this research is to analyse the differences of entrepreneurial orientation and academic achievement between male and female students In Psychology Department University of Ciputra. This study used a quantitative approach with survey methods and analysed by independent sample t-test. The first results showed that there ore differences of entrepreneurial orientation, In which the male students has higher entrepreneurial orientation than the female students (Zr 0.3107; p <0.05). The second result showed that there are difference of academic achievement, in which the male students has lower acodemic achievement than the female students (t = -2.493; p <0.05). The study provide a general information about what kind of area should to be developed mote toward students hosed on their gender.
