Karakteristik Bureaucratic Entrepreneur pada Walikota Surabaya

Abstract

Atstract: Governmort plays a vital partin creating a successful economic development of a country. However, errors and mismanagement are commonly found in government role as the controller ;f their nation. To achieve the national development goals, the government sector needs more bureaucratic entrepreneur. In Indonesia, bureaucratic entrepreneur is really needed in order to transform public sector bureaucracy. This research study bureaucratic entrepreneur characteristics in Surabaya City Major of 2010-2015, Tri Rismaharini. Tii Rismaharini is a bureaucraric en rr.p..r,"rrr, ,..r, from her numerous outstanding achievement in governing Surabaya. Research was'done by using qualitative methods. The transcripts were raken from three in-depth interviews in national rV station during her period. Inductive conrent analysis were used for the data analysis. Research found four characteristics dimensions of a bureaucratic entrepreneur in Tii fusmaharini which ere sinceriry. honesty' innovative, and integriry. All tbose characrers were consistently found in all three in-depth interviews studied. Those characteristics leads Tii Rismaharini into an important and Ieading bureaucratic entrepreneur during her assumed office as Surabaya Ciry Major,
