The Process of Entrepreneurship Learning on Innovative Venture Creation at Ciputra University, Surabaya

Ciputra University has creating more than hundreds new venture creations through entrepreneurship learning subjects. In entrepreneurship, it has been required an active and innovative learning process in order to encourage students to start an innovative business instead of replicative business.Therefore, entrepreneurship 4 that is called Innovation Venture Creation is expected to equip students to be innovator entrepreneurs. There are five learning sequences within entrepreneurship 4, searching opportunity, generated solution ideas, market testing, business model analysis; and implementation and evaluation of students' innovative venture in products or services or/and innovative business model through design thinking method based on continuously improvement. As an action research, this paper has been created based on case study of 97 students' innovative venture project. Total student of entrepreneurship 4 is 407 students in multidisciplinary within six program studies in total. This paper will focus on continuous learning process in order to create an innovative venture. As results, various ideas of the creative and innovative business could be found to the students' business. The stage cycle of design thinking is some alternatives for the solution to generate creativity and the spirit drafted the model business that innovative.
