ANALISIS EKONOMI SISTEM TRANSPORTASI SAMPAH DI KOTA SURABAYA

Abstract

The environmental pollution leading to social unrest is caused by garbage heap in the temporary garbage dump which is not optimally handled. Therefore.real attempts should be made in order to know the garbage volume at each temporary garbage dump so that facilities needed to transport garbage from each temporary garbage dump to permanent garbage dump can be fulfilled and can help overcome the problems of existing garbage heap.In addition,it is also necessary to have data about the distance to transport garbage from the temporary garbage dump to the permanent garbage dump as the basis for calculating the transportation cost.From the discussion,it can be concluded that there must be 79 garbage trucks needed 10 transport garbage per day.In addition,it is also known that the average distance reached by all transportation is 669 km per day.This becomes the basis for calculating transportation cost which values Rp.5,677,534,485 per year.
