| dc.description.abstract | The National Park of Bromo Tengger Semeru (TN-BTS) is the tourism icon of Indonesia, particularly East Java. However, the number of visitors are decreasing, especially within the period of 2004 -2007. Besides improving internal management, the revitalization of TN-BTS includes the integration of buffer villages, which also serve as village tourism along the route to Bromo within the the Bromo tourism package, is an effective solution increase the popularity of Bromo, besides increasing the number of domestic and foreign visitors. Generally, the potential buffer villages of TN-BTS has the potentials of agro-tourism (flower, fruit, ranch). Through the diversification of tourism product of TN-BTS, TN-BTS becomes the tourism of nature and culture. The increase of buffer villages' popularity is expected to also boost the popularity and visitors of the TNBTS | en_US |
