ANALISIS SIKAP KEWIRAUSAHAAN SEBAGAI MEDIASI ANTARA PENDIDIKAN KEWIRAUSAHAAN TERHADAP INTENSI KEWIRAUSAHAAN DI UNIVERSITAS CIPUTRA

Abstract

The educated unemployment rate are increase from year to year. The increase of unemployment is caused by (1) low labor competitiveness, (2) shortage of the labor market because the increase of the number of the workforce is not balanced with the increase of job field, (3) lack of government relation with Indonesian workers, (4) the implementation of labor inspection has not been optimal, and (5) there is a gap between university graduates and competencies that is needed in the world of work. Universitas Ciputra is a university that focuses on entrepreneurship education. All Universitas Ciputra students get entrepreneurship course starting from the first semester to the fifth semester. Entrepreneurship Education is consisted to be able to increase students' entrepreneurial intention. The purpose of this research are (1) to findout the effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention, (2) to find out the effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial attitudes, (3) to find out the effect of entrepreneurial attitude on entrepreneurial intention, and (4) to find out the ability of entrepreneurial attitude of mediating entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention. This type of research is quantitative by using the SmartPLS as an analytical tool. This research used 30 respondents. The results of this research are (1) entrepreneurship education has the positive influence on entrepreneurial intention, (2) entrepreneurship education has the positive influence on entrepreneurial attitude, (3) entrepreneurial attitude has the positive influence on entrepreneurial intention, and (4) entrepreneurial attitude able to mediate influence entrepreneurship education towards entrepreneurial intention with partial mediation.
