dc.description.abstractInformation that has been understood by many, most Indonesian people prefer to work as an employee than to have his/her own business by becoming an entrepreneur. This is proved by the small percentage of entrepreneurs in Indonesia compared to neighboring countries such as Malaysia and Singapore. The majority of Indonesia’s population does not have the entrepreneurial spirit that can be seen from the lack of courage to have an independent business that is considered more risky when compared to be an employee, either in private or public companies. Ciputra University is an institution founded by Ir. Ciputra who aspire to create a new generation of Indonesia who have an entrepreneurial spirit. This study aims to determine the ownership of the entrepreneurial spirit in Ciputra University students’ from Eastern part of Indonesia. Data collected by an in-depth interview method in this qualitative researchen_US
