IMPLEMENTASI PEMAKAIAN SISTEM CAD DAN CAM PADA INDUSTRI APPAREL

Abstract

Nowdays developing technologies are increasing rapidly. Trends and Innovation are always on demand. The one that has the rapid development in Indonesia is Apparel Industry. In Indonesia, Apparel industry is one of the Priority, because it contributed as one that gave the best result in Export area. In order to meet the standard, it needs technologies that matched. CAD ( Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (ComputerAided Manufacture) that integrated to supported softwares, and the compactible production machine would be very effective and profitable for Apparel Industry. The Method used in this paper is Qualitative research method that gained by observation, data findings from books and journals that related to CAD and CAM implementation for Apparel Industry. Hopefully this paper would help to spread knowledge and give insights about The applied CAD and CAM integration in order to gain the best result at Design and Production Process in Apparel Industry.
