Differential Equation Course is one of the course for student to know about the concept mathematic and applied for computation. Students in computer engineering are not have good understanding about the concept dwelling with linear root equation use secant method. This fact are disclosed by the first time initial data that just 26.67 %o are have score equal or grather than 55. Because of that reason, researcher try to use direct learning method to improve the presentage. This method give detail instruction what need to do. The action class was doing on two cycle, each cycle consist of pre and post test that have different question in each cycle. Yield from first cycle, the pre-test is 29.41 % and post-test is 5l.51 % students are have score ≥ 55, while on the second cycle, the pre-test is 60.60 % and post- test is 69.44 75 students are have score ≥55. The conclucion ofthis action class is that the procentage of the students that have score ≥ 55 are much higher 9.44 % from the hipotesa.
