The purpose of the study was to determine the entrepreneurial intentions of students (by gender:
female and male) which were influenced either directly or indirectly by the environment and
university support using attitude variables towards behavior and self-efficacy as mediating
variables. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the number of samples
based on gender: 80 women and 80 men majoring in management. Collecting data using an
online questionnaire (google form) and analyzed using path analysis with the SPSS application.
The results showed: 1) The university environment and support had a direct effect on the
entrepreneurial intentions of female students, but the environment and university support
provided did not directly affect the entrepreneurial intentions of male students; 2) Attitudes
towards behavior mediate environmental influences and university support for male students'
entrepreneurial intentions, while attitudes toward behavior do not mediate environmental
influences and university support for female students' entrepreneurial intentions; 3) Self-efficacy
mediates the effect of the environment and university support on male students' entrepreneurial
intentions, while self-efficacy does not mediate the influence of environment and university
support on female students' entrepreneurial intentions.
