    Abstract
    ReligioustourismisoneofthemainproductsofEa-stJava'stourism EastJavaasthebaseofNahdlatulUlatna(NU), religious tourisrn in the Boarding School (Pesantren) Tebuireng area, Jombang, became both an icon and the center of pilgrimage destination. Uniquely, at Ponpes Tebuireng funeral with three prorninent dominie and national hero such as KH. Hasyim Ashari, KH Wahid Hasyim, and his son, K-FI. Abduuahman Wahid, become mote stretched and widely known as a tourist pilgrimage destination after the 5r lndonesia President, Gus Dur, buried there. ln short, Gus Dur become the icon of Tebuireng Ponpes tomb area pilgrimage tounsm. As a tourist pilgrimage destination, the pilgrims were no1 only religious people of Islam, but also general lourists across religions, as well as the life story of Gus Dur also known as the main character and a synbol ofpeace in the midst of diversity, the tomb of Gus Dur became a tourism destination which cornplement the icon of Walilirno tomb in East Java. The approach conducted for this study is qualitative descriptive. The study was conducted to explote and identifo the pilgrirnage tourisrl at the tomb of Gus Dur This research aim is to provide an acadernic reference for rnanaging Tebuireng Ponpes with their assets in nation ligures within NU dominie who ware buried in it. This pilgrimage tourism research also become a mode for evaluating the management of the pilgrims, and improving the critical aspects needed by the pilgrims in their pilgrimage ritmls. ln the future, the tomb of Gus Dur and NU dominie in the Ponpes Tebuireng area. including Ponpes Tebuireng itself. will expected to become an icon ofreligious tourism destinatiors in the archipelago.
