The application of textile patterns to a fashion product is highly considered by designers due to several reasons, including creativity stimulation, patience and control development, mental health and self-esteem improvement, stress and anxiety relief, as well as social ties enhancement. As a popular culture in 2021, the South Korean Squid Game series is reportedly the inspiration for the development of a pop contemporary textile pattern, which was then applied to the design of an androgynous fashion collection. Therefore, this study aims to determine the application method of a pop contemporary textile pattern to androgynous fashion collections. This is a qualitative study using the descriptive analysis method with the Wolfgang Jonas design micro-cycle containing the following, (1) study, (2) analysis, (3) synthesis, and (4) realization. The results were obtained through the following, (1) the placement of a textile pattern in various positions, (2) the processing of the pattern in different size scales, and (3) the adjustment of the pattern's size scale with clothing pieces.en_US
