dc.description | The main concentration from the restaurant is in the Kitchen. Kitchen is the place to
make all of the food for the customer and have to give the best food otherwise
customer don’t want to come anymore, but only one key success for work in the
kitchen, that is teamwork and how to make a good teamwork is using effective
communication. The most important things when process cooking is effective
communication between the workers and without communication kitchen teamwork
can’t work together.
The several of segment concentration in all the restaurant (Mostly Chinese Food
Restaurant) realizes that using effective communication when work can focused to
make a better result and not forgotten to give work satisfaction for the worker. In this
research, a Chinese restaurant is the best choose because mostly the chef comes from
Singapore or Malaysia and they usually used mandarin language, but other kitchen
staff used Indonesian languages and this condition really needs effective
communication
A research was used to analyzed how to used effective communication by Restaurant
X (Chinese Restaurant) in Tunjungan Plaza Surabaya. The result uses the analyses of
interview and direct observation as qualitative research. At least, the writer could
draw conclusion, make some recommendation and advice in advance to increase the
