| dc.description | The aim of this study is to investigate the financial performance of UD.Manggala throughout the course of April to December 2011. UD Manggalais a business which is currently in its start-up stage and it operates in welding wire trade. The nature of the company as a start-up company implies that its financial performance is still in its labile and unstable stages. In order to study its financial performance, five financial ratio indicators are used. The financial ratios used in this study are as follows: inventory turnover, accounts receivable, net profit margin, return on assets, as well as return on equity. This study uses descriptive analytical methods, time-series approaches, as well as certain benchmarks in order to analyse the aformentioned financial ratios. The results of the analysis reveals that UD Manggala’s financial performance throughout the April to December 2011 time period is still unsatisfactory. The majority of the financial ratios which were used in this study (except for the net profit margin) shows a fluctuating pattern with a tendency of progressive decline by the end of the period. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mengetahui kinerja keuangan UD. Manggala selama periode April hingga Desember 2011. UD. Manggala merupakan sebuah usaha yang bergerak di bidang jual beli (perdagangan) kawat las. Perusahaan ini masih dalam tahap start-up, sehingga kinerja keuangannya masih kurang optimal dan labil serta perlu untuk diteliti. Untuk meneliti dan mengetahui bagaimana kinerja keuangan dari UD. Manggala, maka digunakan lima indikator berupa rasio keuangan yang terdiri: rasio perputaran persediaan, rasio perputaran piutang, rasio marjin laba bersih, rasio pengembalian aset, da rasio pengembalian ekuitas. Untuk menganalisis kelima indikator rasio keuangan tersebut, penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, pendekatan time-series, dan tolak ukur-tolak ukur tertentu. Setelah analisis dilakukan terhadap kelima indikator rasio keuangan, maka diperoleh hasil bahwa kinerja keuangan UD. Manggala selama periodeApril-Desember 2011 memang masih belum menuju ke arah yang lebih baik. Mayoritas indikator rasio keuangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini (kecuali rasio marjin laba bersih) masih menunjukkan pola yang fluktuatif dengan kecenderungan menurun secara beruntun di akhir periode. | en_US |
