Abstract

In Indonesia, the practice of forensic medicine and legal medicine is an important and influential factor in ensuring justice. Therefore, this chapter aims to discuss the complex field of forensic medicine, exploring the background, advancements, duties, difficulties, and impact on legal system of Indonesia. The discussions show that different laws and regulations provide legal basis for the duties and authorities of forensic and medicolegal experts.
