| dc.description | Co-parenting in married couples who both of them are working are called dual-earners, has been shown to have a significant positive relationship with the level of satisfaction in marriage. Children who are educated in a conducive nurturing environment can have a positive impact on their growth and development, but unfortunately education regarding readiness to become parents as well as carry out co-parenting in Indonesia is still very low esspecialy on the family management dimension. This shows the need for educational efforts that are in accordance with the target, namely millennial parents. Another cause is the patriarchal culture that is still strong in Asia so that there is a lot of imbalance in childcare responsibilities between husbands and wives, even though five out of ten women in Indonesia are already working. Online comics (social media) can be a medium for delivering educational information about co-parenting to increase readiness as parents. Millennials are known as a generation that is adept at using the latest information technology and likes short content, making it suitable for spreading educational comics through social media, especially Instagram. This research was conducted using data collection methods in the form of literature studies, interviews with experts and extreme users, and questionnaires on the target audience. The purpose of this research is to provide education about co-parenting so that the level of readiness of couples to have children increases and can have a positive impact on the growth and development of their children. From previous research it was also found that there was a paradigm shift that comics could be a fun educational medium. Comics in this article are also made based on the experience of researchers as parents so as to create a deep relationship between readers and the comics produced. Because of that, by designing the Ichon Family online comic, the target audience, especially millennial couples, are ready to work together in raising children. Ichon Family is ready to present as a comic that not only entertains, but also educates millennial couples. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Co-parenting di dalam pasangan menikah yang keduanya bekerja atau disebut dual-earner, telah terbukti memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan tingkat kepuasan dalam pernikahan. Anak yang dididik dalam lingkungan pengasuhan yang kondusif dapat berdampak positif pada tumbuh kembangnya, namun sayangnya edukasi mengenai kesiapan menjadi orang tua sekaligus melaksanakan co-parenting masih sangat rendah pada dimensi manajemen keluarga, khususnya di Indonesia. Hal ini menunjukkan perlu adanya upaya edukasi yang sesuai dengan targetnya, yaitu orang tua milenial. Penyebab lainya adalah budaya patiarki yang masih kental di Asia sehingga banyak terjadi ketimpangan tanggung jawab pengasuhan anak antara suami dan istri, padahal lima dari sepuluh perempuan di Indonesia telah bekerja. Komik daring (social media) dapat menjadi media penyampaian informasi edukasi mengenai co-parenting untuk meningkatkan kesiapan sebagai orang tua. Milenial dikenal sebagai generasi yang mahir menggunakan teknologi informasi terbaru serta menyukai konten yang singkat sehingga cocok untuk menyebarkan komik edukasi melalui media sosial terutama Instagram. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa studi literatur, wawancara kepada expert dan extreme user, dan kuisioner terhadap target pembaca. Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai co-parenting agar tingkat kesiapan pasangan dalam memiliki anak meningkat dan dapat berdampak positif terhadap tumbuh kembang anak mereka. Dari penelitian sebelumnya juga didapat bahwa terdapat perubahan paradigma bahwa komik dapat menjadi media edukasi yang menyenangkan. Komik dibuat juga berdasarkan pengalaman peneliti sebagai orang tua sehingga dapat menciptakan hubungan yang mendalam antara pembaca dan komik yang dihasilkan. Karena itu dengan dirancangnya komik daring Ichon Family, target pembaca terutama pasangan milenial siap bekerjasama dalam mengasuh anak. Ichon Family siap hadir sebagai komik yang tidak hanya menghibur, tapi juga mengedukasi para pasangan milenial. | en_US |
