| dc.description | Every human being is born with different characteristics from one another. To find out these types of characteristics, psychologists from ancient times did various ways to continue to study them, for example, taking an individual approach, namely through personality tests. One personality type that has been widely recognized is the extrovert and introvert personality. But unfortunately introverts don't get good treatment like extroverts due to the characteristics of introverts who don't like interaction, causing a bad stigma in society to give birth to negative stereotypes. That's why they need an interesting representation of introverts in order to slowly educate them. A digital comic project was designed called Semangat Rani which raised the topic of introverted personality through the daily narrative of the main character Rani as an introvert, introverted educational information content and encouraging content aimed at an audience in Indonesia with an age range from teenagers to young adults (15-25 years old) through the social media Instagram. This platform was chosen because it is quite suitable to reach the age criteria of the prospective audience to be addressed easily and quickly. The research method will use data collection from journal literature studies, interviews with experts, and survey results from respondents. This research was made with the aim of educating the general public about introverted personalities and at the same time being able to provide a good representation of introverts through the main character Rani through the comic medium of Semangat Rani. It is hoped that the design of the Semangat Rani comic can slowly awaken awareness to the audience of teenagers and young adults about the topic of introverted personality so that it can change the bad stigma that has been present in this personality. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Setiap manusia pasti dilahirkan dengan karakeristik yang berbeda antara satu sama lainnya. Untuk mengetahui tipe karakteristik ini pakar ahli psikologi dari zaman dahulu melakukan berbagai cara untuk terus mempelajarinya, contohnya melakukan pendekatan secara individu yaitu melalui tes kepribadian. Salah satu tipe kepribadian yang sudah banyak dikenali adalah kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert. Namun sayangnya pribadi introvert kurang mendapatkan perlakuan yang baik seperti ekstrovert dikarenakan sifat karakteristik inrovert yang kurang menyukai interaksi, sehingga menimbulkan stigma yang buruk di masyarakat sampai melahirkan stereotip negatif. Karena itulah diperlukannya representasi menarik tentang pribadi introvert agar bisa perlahan mengedukasi mereka. Dirancanglah sebuah projek komik digital bernama Semangat Rani yang mengangkat topik kepribadian introvert melalui narasi keseharian karakter utama Rani sebagai introvert, konten informasi edukatif introvert dan konten penyemangat ditujukan kepada audiens di Indonesia dengan jangkauan usia dari remaja hingga dewasa muda (15-25 tahun) melalui media sosial Instagram. Platform ini dipilih karena sudah cukup sesuai untuk menjangkau kriteria usia calon audiens yang akan dituju dengan mudah dan cepat. Metode penelitian akan menggunakan pengumpulan data dari studi literatur jurnal, wawancara dengan narasumber, dan hasil survei dari responden. Penelitian ini dibuat dengan tujuan mengedukasi masyarakat umum tentang kepribadian introvert sekaligus dapat memberikan representasi yang baik tentang introvert lewat karakter utama Rani melalui media komik Semangat Rani. Diharapkan perancangan komik Semangat Rani dapat perlahan membangunkan kesadaran kepada audiens remaja dan dewasa muda tentang topik kepribadian introvert sehingga dapat merubah stigma buruk yang selama ini ada di kepribadian ini. | en_US |
