Abstract
DEFINING EFFECTIVE PROMOTION STRATEGY FOR MEAT BITES COMPANY
This research aims to determine the effective strategy that can be
implemented by Meat Bites company, which is a company which sells eggwaffle
snacks with various meats toppings and choices of flavors to promote the products
to new customers according to the target customers of the company. The research
subjects for this research are two customers, two owners of other established
business in food industry, and one marketing expert. The research objects for this
research is promotional event. The data collection methods used in this research
are interview and documentation. The data are analyzed with source triangulation
from interview result. The results of this study show that there are several
strategies that can be implemented by Meat Bites company in order to increase
sales through attracting new more customers, which are samples, deals with buy
one get one, and maximize word of mouth by using social media and interactive
marketing
