| dc.description | The fast development of hospitality business in Surabaya is supported by the rapid
growth of tourist objects and business areas around. This led to fierce competition
between some hotels in Surabaya. In order to give the best service, the hotel
management should consider how to lead employees so that they can be motivated
to perform the best for customers. This report will discuss about the influence of
leadership and management style that can affect the motivation of employees by
using Somerset Hotel Surabaya as the object of research. The writer use non probability sampling (Purposive) where it will distribute to 256 employees in
Somerset Hotel Surabaya. The purpose of these questionnaires is to
determine whether the employees of Somerset Hotel Surabaya motivated by the
leadership style of management or not. The result can be used by the management
Somerset Hotel Surabaya as evaluation materials to improve the quality of

| dc.description.abstract | Perkembangan bisnis perhotelan di Surabaya sangat pesat dimana ditunjang oleh
pertumbuhan objek wisata dan lokasi bisnis sekitar. Hal ini menyebabkan
persaingan yang ketat antara beberapa hotel di Surabaya. Untuk memberikan
pelayanan yang terbaik, manajemen hotel harus memperhatikan cara
kepemimpinannya sehingga karyawan dapat termotivasi untuk memberikan
pelayanan terbaik untuk pelanggan. Report ini akan membahas pengaruh gaya
kepemimpinan dan manajemen yang dapatmempengaruhi motivasi kerja
karyawan dengan menggunakan Hotel Somerset Surabaya sebagai objek
penelitian. Teknik yang di gunakandalampenelitianiniadalah nonprobability
sampling (Purposive) dimana peneliti akan membagikan angket keseluruh
karyawan Hotel Somerset Surabaya yang berjumlah 256 orang. Tujuan angket
tersebut adalah untuk mengetahui apakah karyawan Hotel Somerset Surabaya
termotivasi dengan gaya kepemimpinan manajemen atau tidak. Hasil penelitian
tersebut dapat digunakan oleh pihak Hotel Somerset Surabaya sebagai bahan
evaluasi untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan karyawan. | en_US |
