THE ROLE OF CREATIVITY AND CALCULATED RISK TAKING CHARACTERS IN PANCA EXOTIKA’S BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

This study discusses about the researcher ‘s role of creativity and calculated risk taking character in Panca Exotika business development. Panca Exotika is a manufacturing company which has been doing fashion and souvenirs, with the brand—EXOTIK. The product uniqueness is from a combination between leather and batik. This study period started from the end of the first semester until the seventh semester. This study purpose is to determine whether creativity and calculated risk taking role underlies the author performance in developing Panca Exotika. This study consists of Panca Exotika company profile, historical events, important milestones in the business development, and the authors’s individual reflections which was reviewed in each semesters. In order to prove if the two characters play role in the business development, important milestones and individual reflections will be connected with the creativity indicators and the calculated risk taking indicators. The study conclusion indicates that the researcher’s creativity and calculated risk taking character has a significant role in Panca Exotika business development.
