FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR BUSINESS I}EVELOPMENT OF PANCA EXOTIKA

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know whether the extending distribution and changing production system plan of Panca Exotika is feasible from marketing aspect, human resource aspect, technic and operation aspect, legal aspect, and financial aspect. This research used primary and secondary data. The sources of primary data are from questionnaires that given to 32 stores and interview with business owner who are already in this business for 23 years, notary, and Head of Business and Trade at Department of Industry and Trade in Bali. The sources of secondary data are from BPS data, newspaper, article and literature books. Panca Exotika is running in fashion industry that offer unique concept by combining batik and leather. Main product of Panca Exotika is bag that used synthetic leather and genuine leather material. Business licenses that are needed by Panca Exotika are Akte Pendirian Perusahaan, SKDP, NPWP, SIUP, TDP, and HO. Location that chosen by Panca Exotika as workshop is at Jl Tenggilis Mejoyo Selatan V / 23 Surabaya. Machines that are used to produce bags are skiving machine, post-bed sewing machine and normal sewing machine. Panca Exotika will hire craftsmen to produce its products by giving base salary, food allowance and achievement bonus as a compensation. Total compensation is more than minimum regional wage in Surabaya. Result of investment return analysis based on most-likely case are NPV as much as Rp 728.285.271,24, IRR reach 188,25%, payback period in 6 months and 19 days, and PI as much as 4,47. Based on analysis from 5 aspects, it can be concluded that business developmental plan of Panca Exotika is feasible from marketing aspect, human resource aspect, technic and operation aspect, legal aspect, and financial aspect.
