Abstract
FACTORS AFFECTINGEMPLOYEE JOB SATISFACTION IN CVCAHAYA GEMILANG
The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that may have an effecton thejob satisfaction of CV CahayaGemilang employees. The factors includedin thisstudy aremotivation factors and hygiene factors. The study was done withquantitative approachand descriptive analysis. The samples of this study areCVCahayaGemilang employees who received monthly salary. The total respondentsof this study are54people that fall into thecategory mentioned previously byusingsaturatedsampling. The data was collected by handing out questionnaires,anddata analysis wasprocessedby using the statistical program SPSS 22. Theresults ofthis study can be summarized into (1)the motivation factors do notsignificantly affect job satisfaction, (2)hygiene factorshavelesssignificant effecttowardsjob satisfaction, (3)even though the independent variables mentioned inthis research did not completely affect the job satisfaction,the data in thedescriptive analysis showed that most of the respondents have a neutral responseto the statements mentioned in the survey, some giving a positive answer, andonly a little disagreed with the statements.
