THE IMPACT OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP, ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING , AND TRAINING TOWARDS ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE OF STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS IN UNIVERSITAS CIPUTRA
Abstract
As student organizations have changed their members in a short period of time, it becomes a problem for the organizations to maintain or even increase their organizational performance as most of the experienced members will leave the organization after their service period ends. This research aims to discover whether transformational leadership, organizational learning, and training are significantly affecting the organizational performance within the student organizations in Universitas Ciputra. The research used a quantitative approach and multiple regression analysis. The samples used for this research are the students of Universitas Ciputra who serve as the active functionaries of both Student Council Universitas Ciputra (SCUC) and Student Representative Board Universitas Ciputra (SRBUC) for the academic period of 2018/2019. The data was collected from 47 valid samples by means of questionnaires. The analysis of the data was conducted via IBM SPSS Statistics 22. The findings of the research are that: the three independent variables have positive relationships towards the organizational performance; transformational leadership does not significantly affect the organizational performance; both organizational learning and training are significantly affecting the organizational performance; student organizations are suggested to prioritize organizational learning and training over transformational leadership in order to significantly increase the organizational performance.
