FACTORS AFFECTING EMPLOYEE JOB SATISFACTION IN CV CAHAYA GEMILANG
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to find out the factors that may have an effect on the job satisfaction of CV Cahaya Gemilang employees. The factors included in this study are motivation factors and hygiene factors. The study was done with quantitative approach and descriptive analysis. The samples of this study are CV Cahaya Gemilang employees who received monthly salary. The total respondents of this study are 54 people that fall into the category mentioned previously by using saturated sampling. The data was collected by handing out questionnaires, and data analysis was processed by using the statistical program SPSS 22. The results of this study can be summarized into (1) the motivation factors do not significantly affect job satisfaction, (2) hygiene factors have less significant effect towards job satisfaction, (3) even though the independent variables mentioned in this research did not completely affect the job satisfaction, the data in the descriptive analysis showed that most of the respondents have a neutral response to the statements mentioned in the survey, some giving a positive answer, and only a little disagreed with the statements.
