dc.descriptionThe Goods Diner Surabaya Restaurant is a restaurant with a western menu that was just established in 2017. Tight business competition poses a threat to The Goods Diner Surabaya Restaurant that has just started a business, thus this study aimed to provide an overview of marketing strategies in the 7P marketing mix carried out by The Goods Diner Surabaya Restaurant. Observation, interview and documentation are the techniques of collecting the data. This study uses descriptive qualitative method with marketing strategy approach that is segmentation, targeting and positioning and also 7P marketing mix approach (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence). Based on the results of the study, marketing strategies in the 7P marketing mix carried out by The Goods Diner Surabaya Restaurant is focusing the market on young people and young families so that product, price, place, promotion, people, process and physical evidence are adjusted to target markets. There are some suggestions for The Goods Diner Surabaya Restaurant such as provide more complete information in the menu, inform discount promotions in social media promotions and improve employee performance.en_US
dc.description.abstractRestoran The Goods Diner Surabaya merupakan restoran dengan menu western yang baru berdiri tahun 2017. Persaingan bisnis yang ketat menimbulkan ancaman bagi Restoran The Goods Diner Surabaya yang baru memulai usaha, untuk itu penulisan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang strategi pemasaran dalam bauran pemasaran 7P yang dilakukan oleh Restoran The Goods Diner Surabaya. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan strategi pemasaran yaitu segmentasi, targeting dan positioning serta bauran pemasaran 7P (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, strategi pemasaran dalam bauran pemasaran 7P yang dilakukan oleh Restoran The Goods Diner Surabaya yaitu memfokuskan pasar kepada anak muda dan keluarga muda sehingga product, price, place, promotion, people, process dan physical evidence disesuaikan dengan target pasar. Saran untuk Restoran The Goods Diner Surabaya yaitu memberikan informasi yang lebih lengkap dalam menu, menginformasikan promo diskon dalam promosi di media sosial dan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan.en_US
