dc.descriptionThe title of this research is "The Effect of Advertising Sales Ratio, Debtto Equity Ratio to Return on Equity at Smooth Company in Surabaya". The purpose of this study is to see if the advertising sales ratio and debt to equity ratio have influence to return on equity at Smooth Company significantly. The data used in this study is financial report of Smooth Company on period August 2009 until November 2011. The methods of analysis that are used in this study are multiple linear regression analysis and test of classical assumptions. The results of this study show that advertising cost is not influence significantly profitability Smooth Company. On the other hand, debt variable influence significantly to the profitability of Smooth Company. SPSS test result show that advertising cost is not influencing, but the debt variable influencing significantly to profitability of Smooth Company.en_US
dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Advertising Sales Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio Terhadap Return on Equity Pada Perusahaan Smooth di Surabaya”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh advertising sales ratio dan debt to equity ratio secara signifikan terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan Smooth. data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data keuangan perushaaan Smooth pada periode Agustus 2009 hingga November 2011. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda dan uji asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa biaya advertensi tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan Smooth, sedangkan variabel utang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan Smooth. Hasil uji SPSS menunjukkan bahwa biaya advertensi tidak berpengaruh, sedangkan variabel utang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan Smooth.en_US
