| dc.description | Candle industry is one of the home industries which mostly have a small capacity. There are many industrial candle operations in Indonesia, especially in Surabaya area . Since Between in 2009 to 2010 competition started in candle industry with the rise of m any new players . The tight competition makes the product and the price more competitive among industry players with increasingly stringent candles. They make the competition more affordable in terms of goods , prices regardless of the products. This is caused by distributors spread across Indonesia with which many reject high price because a lot of candles industry players that offer low prices . This resulted in low quality products that consumers are not satisfied with. Based on the above description, this study aims to determine the effect of product quality and price on customer satisfaction Crystal white candles , either simultaneously or partially . The research design is a quantitative explanation study with a population of all the consumers who buy Crystal white candles . The numbers of samples used are as many as 100 people , who were gathered with accidental sampling technique . Research variables are product quality , pricing, and customer satisfaction . Analytical tools used were inferential statistics using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software . Based on the analysis , it can be concluded that simultaneous and partial product quality and price have a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction of Crystal white candle . The coefficient of determination of 0.462 obtained indicates the percentage of product quality and price influence on consumer satisfaction of 46.2% and as much as 53.8 % was influenced by other factors. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Industri lilin merupakan salah satu usaha rumah tangga yang kebanyakan memiliki kapasitas kecil. Industri lilin banyak beroperasi di Indonesia khususnya wilayah Surabaya. Mulai tahun 2009 - 2010 persaingan industri lilin mulai ketat dengan munculnya banyak pemain - pemain baru. Ketatnya persaingan membuat persaingan produk dan harga semakin ketat antara pemain industri lilin. Mereka membuat persaingan harga semakin murah terhadap barang mereka, tanpa memperdulikan kualitas produknya. Hal tersebut diakibatkan distributor - distributor yang tersebar di Indonesia banyak yang menolak dengan harga tinggi karena banyak pemain industri lilin yang menawarkan harga yang murah. Kualitas produk yang rendah menyebabkan konsumen tidak puas terhadap lilin yang digunakan. Berdasarkan uraian tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan m engetahui pengaruh kualitas produk dan harga terhadap kepuasan konsumen lilin putih Cap Crystal, baik secara simultan ataupun parsial. R ancangan penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksplanasi dengan populasi adalah semua konsumen yang membeli lilin putih cap Crystal. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 100 orang, yang dikumpulkan dengan teknik accidental sampling . Variabel penelitian adalah kualitas produk, harga, dan kepuasan konsumen. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah statistika inferensial dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa secara simultan dan parsial kualitas produk dan harga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen lilin putih cap Crystal. Koefisien determinasi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,462 yang menandakan prosentase pengaruh kualitas produk dan harga terhadap kepuasan konsumen sebesar 46,2% dan 53,8% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. | en_US |
