dc.descriptionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara 4 tipe MyerBriggs Type Indicator (MBTI) function type dalam kemampuan mereka dalamberinovasi dalam family business. Obyek penelitian yang diteliti adalah pelakugenerasi Kedua perusahaan keluarga yang berada di Surabaya. Ada sebuahpepatah yang beredar di antara para pelaku perusahaan keluarga, yang berkatabahwa ‘generasi pertama membangun, generasi kedua menikmati, dan generasiketiga menghancurkan’ dan meresponi hal tersebut, riset membuktikan bahwatidak banyak perusahaan keluarga yang masih berjalan di generasi ketiga. Salahsatu faktor terpenting untuk menjaga agar bisnis tetap Berjalan adalah inovasi.Penelitian ini mempelajari 120 responden dan teknik pengumpulan datapenelitian ini dilakukan dengan skala Likert. Data yang sudah dikumpulkankemudian diproses dengan SPSS menggunakan ANOVA Test untuk mengetahuiMBTI Function type mana yang paling tinggi kemampuan inovaasi nya, dan jugaperbedaan kemampuan inovasi antar MBTI Function Type. Dari penelitian iniditemukan bahwa ada perbedaan dalam Myer Briggs Type Indicator FunctionType terhadap kemampuan berinovasi.en_US
dc.description.abstractThepurpose of this study is to find the difference between 4 types of MyerBriggs Type Indicator (MBTI) function type in ability to innovate in familybusiness. The object examined in this study is the second generation of familybusiness owner in Surabaya. There is a myth that has been going around infamily business industry, which says ‘the first generation builds, the secondgeneration enjoys, and the third generation destroys’, and correlating to thatstatement, it is indeed not many family business has stay afloat to their thirdgeneration. One of the most important factor to keep every business running isinnovation. This study studied 120 respondents and the data was collected usinga Likert Scale questionnaire. Collected datas were then analyzed on SPSS usingANOVA Test to find out which MBTI Function Type score highest in ability toinnovate, and then the difference of ability to innovate between each MBTIFunction Type. Furthermore, it is found that there is a difference in betweendifferent Myer Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Function type in ability to innovate.en_US
