dc.descriptionThis study is about In-Tea, a distributor which engages in rosella tea. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of packaging material, visual appeal of packaging, and functional appeal of packaging as independent variables on consumer purchasing decision as dependent variable. This study uses quantitative data. The population used in this research is end-user customers of In-Tea in the period between January 2012 to December 2012, which amounts to 85 people. Samples are taken using Slovin formula in order to get 71 people. Sampling technique used is non-probability sampling method which is convenience sampling. The technique analysis applied is multiple linear regression which begins with hypothesis and tested using F-test and t-test. The results show that the variables of packaging material, visual appeal of packaging, and functional appeal of packaging simultaneously and partially influence the consumer purchasing decision variable in In-Tea. The packaging material, visual appeal of packaging, and functional appeal of packaging variables simultaneously influence consumer purchasing decision as much as 58,6%en_US
dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini meneliti In-Tea, distributor yang bergerak di bidang teh rosella kemasan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Bahan Kemasan, Daya Tarik Visual Kemasan, dan Daya Tarik Fungsional Kemasan selaku variabel bebas terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen selaku variabel terikat. Penelitian ini menggunakan data kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen end user dari In-Tea pada periode Januari – Desember 2012 sebesar 85 orang. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan rumus slovin sehingga didapat 71 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode non probability sampling yaitu convenience sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda diawali dengan hipotesis dan diuji menggunakan Uji F dan Uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel Bahan Kemasan, Daya Tarik Visual Kemasan, dan Daya Tarik Fungsional Kemasan berpengaruh secara simultan dan parsial terhadap variabel Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen pada In-Tea. Variabel Bahan Kemasan, Daya Tarik Visual Kemasan, dan Daya Tarik Fungsional Kemasan berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap variabel Keputusan Pembelian Konsumen sebesar 58,6%en_US
