Abstract
Exploration Study on Leadership Style in the Business Development of Hello Pet
This study aims to determine the appropriate leadership style for Hello Pet. The data collection
method used is source triangulation. Researchers conducted interviews with five members of the
group, one supervisor, and an expert practitioner in leadership. The data are then processed using
two indicators in order to find the right style of leadership. These two indicators are commitment
and competence. This study also compares the leadership styles of the old and the new using
both indicators. Interview results suggest that the old leadership style is no longer relevant and
that the new style is more suitable for employees. It can be concluded that the best leadership
style is based on the commitment and competence of the employees. Improvement in the
leadership style encourages the company to adjust its new leadership style to highlight the
employees' work targets
